The competition in the domain industry is steadily increasing as more and more people are becoming aware of it's global impact in today's financial marketplace. Professional investors and huge corporations are staking their claim of this internet real estate and have turned this once primitive name exchange into a booming multi-billion dollar industry.
Today's domainers are needing take their domain investing to another level in order to have continued success and profitability. Below are 15 Ways To Become A Better Domainer.
Utilize the forums
As I've said in previous posts, the importance of domaining forums in the domain industry are vital and serve as a great resource for beginners and professional domainers alike. Whether you are looking for some honest appraisal opinions or asking questions that only another domainer would know the answer to, the domain forums are there to assist. 24 hours a day, 365 days a week, this constant stream of domain information has shaped many beginner domainers into today's greatest professional domainers. If you're not a member of a domain forum you should greatly consider joining one today.
Are you a domainer or a domain developer?
Are you buying domains for quick profit sales? Are you buying domains for the long-term traffic revenue? Are you buying domains to develop and birth new traffic? Whether you choose to do one or all three, you must come to terms and clarify a solid game plan when it comes to your domain investments. It's reasonably okay to have a few domains being developed but your overall strategy needs to take shape and be narrowed down to a specific objective. Developing a domain name takes time, effort and more time, but the possible payoffs are always huge. Buying domain names in bulk for quick sales is also profitable but relies more on a constant sales initiative to be successful. Either way, you need a tactical approach on how you want to market your domains.
Dissect your portfolio
I once spoke to a guy who boasted a domain portfolio of over 3000 names. After hearing how he was considering selling a few of his "best" domains, I offered to peruse the list and maybe assist with finding some end users that might be potential buyers. He agreed and the next day he sent me a list of about 1000 of his best domains that he was willing to sell. To my surprise over 90% of them were, in my humble opinion, not worth much more than the reg fee. I contacted him back and explained that I was only to find about 75-100 names that could possibly be decent sales. He was stunned. He declined and stated that my appraisal was not correct and thanked me for my time. 3 days laters, I received an email from the exact same guy asking for assistance in selling the 75-100 domain names I previously found in his list. Seems that during those 3 days, he spoke to a few other domainers and received the same appraisal and evaluation of his so called "best" domains. This guy thought since his domains contained popular words like gamble, casino, sex and technology that it automatically made his domains super valuable. What he didn't consider was the multiple hyphens and terrible combinations of typos and keywords. Don't be the domainer with a huge list of terrible domains just to brag about how large your portfolio is. Trim your "extra" domains and streamline by selling or trading and use the profit for investing in quality names that are earmarked for immediate revenue or immediate development. Be proud of the overall quality of your portfolio and not just the number of domains it contains.
Know your rep
I amazed on how many people I encounter that in the domain industry that have no idea who their representatives are for such companies as Sedo, Moniker, Go Daddy and other big domain powerhouses. The representatives of such companies exist to assist their members who utilize their services and are hands-down the quickest and easiest way to get something resolved if you feel a mistake has been made. If you have domains either parked or offered for sale with a domain company, I highly suggest sending a quick email to find out who your representative is and do you best to maintain a professional and courteous relationship with them. It's easier to ask assistance from someone whom you know and knows you than it is to ask a complete stranger. And don't forget to vote for your favorite domain rep at next years Domainers Choice Awards.
Stay clear of Trademark Infringements
This should be a no-brainer. Time and time again I see domainers struggle with the headaches caused by trademark infringements and bad faith domain registrations. Not only do most of the trademark claims filed at the WIPO result in the domain being transferred to the appropriate party, but it also indicates that your choice in domains is questionable and therefore proving that you are still purchasing non-quality domain names. Domains that infringe on trademarks are not quality. Ask any lawyer. Save your registration fee and steer clear of legal woes.
Auto-renew
Now that your portfolio is streamlined and contains only select domain names, you definitely don't want to lose or let any of them drop and take a chance of someone else buying you lovely internet real estate. Do yourself a favor and set your domains for auto-renew at your domain register where purchased. It's a terrible feeling to have someone else scoop up one of your prize domains just because you didn't or couldn't find the time to renew the registration. Visit this great article by the Daily Domainer that explains the life-cycle of a domain name and don't let accidental "drops" happen to you.
Limit the hand regs
Hand regs or hand registrations are domains that are purchased from a publicly available source at a regular registration fee and are either brand new (never been purchased) or have expired and no longer owned by the previous owner. Go Daddy is a domain registrar that is popular with domainers and consistently used for hand regs. The possibility of stumbling along a unregistered domain is always there and the opportunity for someone to register a new domain name that never existed and create value to it is also conceivable, but in essence, most domain names that are hand regged are simply non-researched, impulse purchases that pad a domain portfolio with non-value names. Distinguish yourself as a profitable domainer and limit the amount of hand regs you add to your portfolio. One good way is to wait 24 hours before registering a hand reg domain and then re-evaluating before buying. You may lose a registration every so often but in the long run you will save on unnecessary registration fees and useless domain name ownership.
Stay current with news and sales
To be successful is to be informed. The pulse of the domain industry is constantly evolving and therefore it is beneficial to a domainer to know exactly what is the next potential opportunity or trend being created within our industry. If you buy domain names, you are an investor. If you are an investor, you need to stay current with the news of your investments and other people's investments. You can do this by monitoring the recent domain sales and news offered by many websites that are specifically geared towards todays domainers. One of my favorite websites is Ron Jackson's DNJournal. You can find great articles, news and the popular Year To Date domain sales. You need to know what domains are selling, which domains are being bought and how much they are being bought for. Invest time in your investments and reap the rewards. Predicting the next big trend is priceless.
Blog around
Domaining blogs are sprouting up everywhere with domainers eager to share their experiences, setbacks, lessons learned and tips with anyone who wants to listen. We all need to take advantage of this free and useful information by visiting various domain blogs and getting another person's perspective on our industry. And don't forget to subscribe to their RSS feeds, if it is offered, and have all this new information sent directly to you to read at your convenience... for free. Subscribe to this blog here.
Diversify with other TLD extensions
While some domainers swear that .com is the only extension worth being bought, there are others, like me, who think it's absolutely insane to dismiss all other TLD's and only buy one flavor of domain name. The popularity of .TV and .Mobi and the ongoing success of ccTLD's has risen and is playing a prominent part in today's domain marketplace. Generic domains in any of these extensions are being recognized as a highly sought after commodity with no signs of slowing. Familiarize yourself with other TLD's beside .com, .net and .org and evaluate your domain purchases on a global niche scale the next time you go to buy a domain.
Consider fractional domain ownership
Fractional domain ownership is simply a group of people that own a domain name and share in it's profits, development and use. There is not one sole owner because it is owned by the entire group. Owning a portion of a high value domain is a great way for a newcomer to the domain industry to begin and understand the ins and outs of professional domaining and share in the profit growth associated with that certain domain. It also allows "regular" domainers to group funds together and own a very premier domain name without one person having to pay the entire purchase price. Look for this trend to boom in 2008.
Optimize your parked pages
Once you buy a domain name, it is up to you whether your domain will contain a fully-functional website that you can customize/adsense or whether you will "park" your domain and allow targeted content to automatically be placed and monetized per visitor. If you choose to park your domains, it's imperative that you understand how domain parking works and how it can be optimized to bring better results. Sedo is a popular place for domain parking and allows users to see detailed stats and account information for each domain parked on the Sedo network. Revenue is shared with Sedo each time someone clicks on content on one of your parked pages and relies on consistent traffic to be a steady stream of income. Brush up on your domain parking information here.
Update your WHOIS information
The WHOIS database is sort of like a directory of purchased domain names that contains the owner's contact information, purchase date and expiration of a certain domain. One use of this information is being able to contact a domain owner and inquire about purchasing the domain. Without the correct information in the WHOis database, a potential buyer may not be able to contact the current owner and allow an offer to be placed. Contact your domain registrars and make sure your WHOis information is current and correct. If you opt not to be contacted by potential buyers, you may consider using a service that purchases domains for it's clients and keeps their information private. There is also an option to pay an additional fee at some domain registrars for private domain registration.
Contact more end users
So you have a great domain name that is considered gold in a certain industry. Great job. Now, if you have decided not to develop it and simply want to profit from a sale, I highly suggest contacting an end user. What's and end user? An end user is someone who would use the domain name specifically for creating brand recognition in a certain industry. Here's an example: Adam owns organicdogfood.com and Bob owns an organic dog food company in Texas but uses the domain BobsSuperGoodOrganicDogFood.com. Adam contacts Bob and offers a shorter, brandable and easier to remember domain name that can increase Bob's exposure on the internet for people searching for organic dogfood. Adam has just contacted a possible end user. A domain name can usually be sold to an end user for more since it is valued more by the actual user of the domain instead of a regular domain buyer.
Change your views on the domain industry
Are there still opportunities to be successful in today's domain industry? Yes.
Is there still time to take advantage of the booming domain sales? Yes.
Is it still possible for a domain newbie to come in and thrive even with a small initial investment. Yes.

All domainers want to know how to make a profit from their domains, but a question they should be asking just as frequently is, “How do I make sure my domains stay secure?” Due diligence is the first step to maintaning ownership of yours domains. The roman empire lasted quite a while before it succumbed to the tide of history. The third reich was supposed to last as long but didn't see out a decade. And the reign of Australia's leading real estate portal - realestate.com.au - is now also under threat.
The massive industry leading website is one of the largest real estate sites in the online world but it's junior brother ( domain.com.au ) is about to teach the old boy something about giving your customers what they want.
This week, little brother domain.com.au, staged quite an amazing coup when it announced a partnering with none other than the online monolith ebay.
In a move that has the potential to utterly alter the face of real estate marketing in Australia, Domain.com.au has teamed with ebay to display their listings on the huge ebay marketplace.
This means that Domain's already very substantial traffic will now swell with the addition of the ebay deal.
How realestate.com.au is going to react to this threat to their market share will be most compelling viewing for the real estate public in Australia.
The real estate scene in the country is totally dominated by the two leading real estate websites and it's really a case of daylight in third place.
No doubt realestate.com.au won't ( and can't )take this development lying down. They absolutely will be forced to fight back vigorously and the only tenable way to do so will be to establish a relationship with some other online giant.
Given that Google itself is the only entity of a comparable size then it may be that realestate.com.au faces the sternest challenge it has faced in the past decade.
Realestate.com.au would have considered there position at the very top of the tree to be almost bulletproof but they may be about to have a rude awakening.
Meanwhile it will be equally interesting to see the effect the partnering of domain and ebay has on the smaller property portals like myhome and homehound.
And even more interesting will it be, to see the reaction from real estate agents who have long disliked the market monopoly that realestate.com.au held over them.
Now that the two portals are on more even footing the agents and the public who are selling a house and needing maximum exposure will emerge as the winners.

Number 1 in Google with a domain name redirect
Thursday, December 4, 2008 Posted by admin at 12:44 AM | Labels: domain name redirect googleHi everyone,
I am glad to see you are doing some reading. That is how I learned most of what I know. Did you know that you can get ranked number 1 in Google just using a simple $10 domain name redirect/mask? That is awesome. I have only been in internet marketing for 2 years and I feel like I am just getting started... really!
So here's the scoop. I got the domain name "AmeriPlanCoverage.com" from GoDaddy... set up fowarding and masking... put in my keywords and website description, and BAM. Maybe a month or so later that website was #1 for the keyword "ameriplan coverage."
There is a video tutorial right on the GoDaddy website to show you EXACTLY how to set this all up. It only takes a couple minutes.
It's funny I use this example since I don't even own the domain name anymore. I am an IBO with AmeriPlan USA and am not allowed to use such domain names... but I forgot to read that part of the rules when I signed up... ha ha ha.
Now don't think that every "masked" domain will rank #1 in Google. I think I must have gotten lucky. I had several other domain names that didn't do nearly as well. The point is, it was only $10... and it worked for a while. Since this was a "corporate regenerated website" there was NO WAY to get visitors through the SE's. If you have a duplicate site, you could do the same thing and steal all the visitors from your competition. Sounds great doesn't it?
Of coarse if you really want to do some serious SEO then you need to have your own ORIGINAL content. I actually just started building my own websites... a few short months ago. I am still in the beginning stages of SEO for my few sites and plan to use article marketing for a good part of my traffic. I don't have much ranking yet, but I am still adding content to my site.
You know another good traffic tip? I set up a RSS feed on my websites and since I am still adding content, my feeds keep getting bigger too. Submitting a feed is like submitting your url or posting links back to your site. Nothing bad can come of it. It is all GOOD. A combination of everything is how you will gain mass traffic to your website and make money when others around you are failing.
Good luck with all your work. Hard work pays off. Trust me.

Domain names are the real estate assets in the virtual world of the internet. Just like the address for a physical property sets its price, similarly, the web address of your website adds value to it. A good domain name would not need any advertisement and one could have huge amounts of traffic without any extra effort.
This is where the internet market gurus are concentrating on - how to generate maximum traffic to their website. The problem enlarges itself if the brand name is not popular. So how do we find a good domain name?
The answer lies in how people search on the net. For example, if you are looking for leather shoes, one would very often open up a browser and type "leather shoes" instead of typing JackOutfits.com, assuming there is a company called Jack Outfits that sells shoes. The chances of someone typing JackOutfits.com are so much smaller than typing "leather shoes" which are the "key words" for search. This explains, why domain names that are composed of the key words that people use to search the most, are so important.
I have been dealing in domain names for some years now and it is only very recently that I started understanding the real domain names that are important. I had booked hundreds of domain names that I thought were excellent. Obviously, I did not have time to develop all of them into proper sites with meaningful content, so I looked for the parking sites where I could park my names. To my utter horror I realized that even after several weeks only a few people even tried to come to my sites. The number of people who would generate valid clicks for me to get paid back was obviously almost zero. When I tried to sell those domain names off, I found there were no buyers for them. It was obvious I had thrown a few thousand dollars down the drain.
This was in fact a very valuable experience that I did not want to let go waste, just like I did to my dollars. I started with letting almost all my old domain names expire and I got very selective in buying the new ones. Before I placed the order for each domain name, I would look up in Overture about how many times that word or phrase was requested by the users on the internet. Some other sites helped to provide the amount of PPC (pay per click) revenue a certain name would generate. Only when everything made sense to me, I went ahead and bought the domain name.
Still, with all the names, I still did not have time to develop them into meaningful websites. Leaving them parked on the parking websites got them degraded in the listings of search engines as the search engines can effectively weed out sites which they find have no relevant content on them. Instead of building value, my domain names started to decrease in value.
Then I found a wonderful service that could generate content for my website without me needing to move a finger! This fabulous service provides hosting for your website and provides context sensitive articles from multiple article feeders around the globe to add content to your site. Now, my websites have what the search engines are looking for. This site also allowed me to place my own ads, so any clicks that happen get paid to me 100%. If one does not have an ad provider, one can use the in-house ad generator and get 60% of the revenue. It has been about a week now and I am starting seeing my domain names appear one by one in the search engine results. The revenue from the clicks is slowly started trickling in. I am not sure how much it would be or can be, but for now I am excited!
I will try to keep providing my real life feedback here for anyone who would like to follow up on this. You can find more information on how to effortlessly create content on your website and generate revenue here.

How is it People Make Great Profits with Google Adsense?
Posted by admin at 12:38 AM | Labels: google adsenseAnytime that anyone says to another person, "Oh, I work at home as an Internet marketer" or "I make money while I sleep," there are one of three responses. The first response is that the person scowls out of jealously at the one telling them of their success, the second is a look of disbelief, and the third is that they want to know what the secret is behind being able to make money in their pajamas. When the latter occurs, they sometimes get the response, "I run multiple Google Adsense websites." By this point, the inquirer's face is contorted because they're wondering how in the world Google Adsense is allowing this person to make great profits on the Internet. They just don't get it.
The good news is that the answers are rather simple. First of all, the individual looking to make a living on the web will look into what niches are popular or are becoming popular. It is always good to see what the up and coming niche is because you can be one of the first to start marketing it. From there, you can then buy up domain names for the many different niches that you have chosen.
After purchasing all of these domain names and securing a hosting service, it is time to look into Google Adsense templates. These are very important because they are the only way in which you're going to be able to launch all of these websites quickly. Upload the templates, fill in the content, put in the code for the ads, and you're in business. Rinse and repeat until everything is complete.
From there, it is time to market the websites. It is very important to focus on the ones that seem to reside in a niche that has a higher demand. This means that you need to create Adsense channels so that you can keep track of your clicks. Keeping track of your clicks means that you can see where your clicks are originating from and what pages need work. You can easily see what pages are performing well and which ones are not, which means you can make them to where they will perform well. You can then market them to your heart's content.
In the end, it is Google Adsense marketing that is going to help you make your profits. You can't expect people to know about any of your websites if you don't get the word out. Getting the word out is going to reel them in. Once they're reeled in, they're going to explore your site, click your ads, and have a great time. What this translates into for you is money in your pocket for your marketing efforts. Everyone get something, which means everyone wins.

Online advertising is becoming widespread and reaches anyone with access to the Internet. However the most effective promotion for a website is to be visible where its target audience is.
A website greeting its visitors based on their location or displaying relevant offers depending on their location is sure to generate more clicks and garner a high conversion ratio. Numerous researches and studies have positively established that search queries are getting more and more local in nature. For more details go to www.offline-promotion.com This essentially means that users are actively looking for local information and they do so by appending geographic locater to the search term (e.g. Plumber in Seattle).
In the pursuit of providing relevant results, search engines are actively pursuing local search. This very fact is being harnessed by online businesses (which are local in nature) to create a bigger impact and claim a large market share. Geo targeting (aqua geographical targeting) is a mechanism to control the display of website content based on specific geographical locations. The targeted content may vary from advertisements, news to city specific information. The process of geo targeting happens on the server, prior to web page being sent to the browser. When the user requests a particular page, the server queries the user's IP address and checks it against a database. Based on it, the server would provide the relevant web page to the user, based on her location. By being able to do so, online businesses can present targeted content to the user based on his/her physical location. Geo targeting holds special relevance for businesses that are local in nature (florist, plumbing, electrician, take a ways, etc.), targeting their local audience. By reaching the desired customers, website owners are able to realize maximum return on investment.
In case of a multilingual website, geo targeting can be effectively used to present apt version of the website, based on user's regional language. It also plays a vital role in creating a level playing field for both small and large businesses. Small businesses with a local flavor, sometimes with meager marketing budget, can achieve great results by geo targeting. Such businesses have a better understanding of the local market and can thus serve the customers better. In order to capitalize and benefit from the advantages offered by geo targeting, a few technical changes to the website could be mandated. Also factors such as country specific domain names, physical location of the hosting server, primary language of the website, and origin of the inbound links play a crucial role in geo targeting. With so many benefits attached to geo targeting, and the concept being fairly simple and easy to implement, it is astonishing that it does not figure prominently in the Internet marketing strategy of many online businesses. For more details go to www.greatseosecrets.com Search engine optimization strategies centered on geo targeting would not only help you pursue a targeted approach, but also generate increased revenue. As good as it gets!

Google Adsense - You Need To Keep Building New Sites
Posted by admin at 12:07 AM | Labels: google adsenseThere's a lot of buzz around about how you can make a quick and easy fortune using this AdSense course or that tool or this book. And they show you their incomes from AdSense too (though not necessarily THIS month). Now, is it just me or is something a little odd in all this?
Say, I'm making $5000 - no make that $15,276 a month from AdSense on my sites. And now I'm going to sell all my secrets on how to do that for $67 or $97 or whatever. For more resources go to www.thegoogleincome.com So what happened, did I get all bored with my filthy riches and decide to become a philanthropist and sell stuff that makes me 15K a month for a pittance? Or is it something else?Am I saying it's impossible? Certainly not. I know people who make that more. But a little reality. Those people don't have 5 or 6 or 50 sites. They have maybe 500 or 3000 or more. Few sites make 20 or more a day. Very few. Average income is probably less than a dollar a day. So with 500 sites at a dollar a day, you've got your 15K a month. Now the domain names cost you maybe $3500 to $4500. Then you need hosting and somehow you've got to build the sites and get traffic to them.
There are excellent tools but the ones that will let you do this kind of thing in a reasonably short time are also very (very) expensive. And you are continually dealing with sites that don't get indexed or get de-indexed or even get banned. Traffic today, gone tomorrow. Plus, if you're not real careful with those tools you may get an unpleasant letter from Google about a DMCA copyright infringement which could cost you your AdSense account. You can make money, you can build an empire. But it isn't easy or quick no matter what you hear. And it really isn't a business. It's not a long run proposition, it's not stable. You need to keep creating more sites as older ones fail - or you need to be smart and use those AdSense revenues to build an enduring business. You put up with this down to here, so here are the real 7 "secret" keys to AdSense. 1. The best performing AdSense type is the large rectangle. This has been tested over and over. 2. The best colors are blue for the link - surfers know that blue means click me. And darkish almost black and grey for the text and URL. No borders. The same background as your page. Will it merge into your content? No, that's bogus. There are maybe 4 surfers in this galaxy who can't tell a Google ad when they see one. They are not going to believe its part of the text. Wake up, OK? 3. Another format which is being reported to more or less work is the full wide banner type layout with text ads and images directly above the links. Try it and see if it works for you. Maybe it's a fad. 4. Keywords and related content are critical if you want targeted ads. If you want high paying clicks you need to target the costly keywords AND have content that supports the keywords. 5. You need traffic interested in the ads. Which means your traffic generation techniques have to be targeted not scattershot? You might hear that 1% or 1.5% click through rate is OK and 3% is good. Nonsense. Really successful people get CTRs that are often well above 30%. Even with modest efforts you should be getting an average 6 to 15% CTR (per ad impression, not pages). 6. You have to track what you're doing and you have to test variations in ad layout, placement, color and related content to optimize your income. No one can tell you how to do it except the traffic coming to your site. If you don't test and track, you're flying blind. 7. You need to keep building new sites. You are now a member of the AdSense Illuminati. Quite possibly you already knew all that. So why are you looking for something else? Really. This is all you need to start doing it.
Probably any course or book can help you if that's what it takes to get you moving and doing. Ultimately, no one can really show you exactly how to do it. You're going to have to learn the ropes and put in the time. Like everything in life - the greatest traffic generator, the ultimate course or the super MLM opportunity, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. You can also go to www.yourgoogleincome.com. There's no magic bullet, no ultimate secret to buy. There's no easy, painless, work free, certain road to riches (except, maybe, inheriting it and that can be very hard on the heirs).Whatever you do on the net, do it wide awake and with your brain actually functioning. The final un-numbered key is that a technique, a shortcut, and an idea that will make what you do easier, faster, or more profitable - one single tiny thing - is worth more than any book or course costs. One useable idea and you've gotten a great deal. If you learned something you didn't know or had forgotten, then its worth much more than you paid. There may not be any magic solution out there, but there are useful concepts, techniques and ideas. You just have to see them for what they are, and then get busy and really use them.

Product Creation: Easily Explode Your Affiliate Sales
Posted by admin at 12:06 AM | Labels: affiliate marketing salesMany consider affiliate marketing as the easiest and fastest way to earn money online. But don't be fooled if you think there's no work involved. You CAN earn a 6 figure income through affiliate marketing. But you need to be smart, take action, and most of all you need to make your business unique.
Today I'll point you in the right direction for being smarter and more unique. You're the one who has to take action!
You must have your own website or multiple sites that are yours. I'd recommend you avoid the cookie cutter sites that hundreds of others get for free. Sure... they're easy to implement and convenient. But you'll be shooting your self in the foot. NOT unique.
Quite often your market will need repeated exposure to your marketing message. And you can do that with your own memorable domain name and unique site. For more details go to www.product-launching.com. Imagine what a potential customer thinks if they have already seen many sites similar to yours? Then it doesn't matter really who they buy from.
Your marketing message gets diluted and you'll only be hurting your own business.
People get bombarded every day by hundreds of ads everywhere they go. So create your own unique ads, banners, whatever you plan to use. It's the same idea behind having your own website.
You NEED to be unique in every way.
In time, or sooner if possible, create one or two of your own products to market to your affiliate list. (You ARE capturing names and emails and creating your list... right?) If you have difficulties with product creation, you can try getting master rights or resell rights only if you can find something good and NOT old. And then try to make it your own as much as possible. Be creative and you'll see what you can do!
Build a strong relationship with your list. These are current and potential customers.
You'll get lots of questions from potential customers about your affiliate products. So the ideal is to buy the product, or products, you're promoting so you can speak from authority. That's best!
People love experts and those in the know. You'll be marketing from a position of strength when you know all about the product. And that fact will come through in your marketing communications. For more information login to www.product-creation-innovation.com. When you've bought and used the product your support will be better. You can even create stand alone tutorials you can use as bonuses. Be creative.
Also, you may buy a product and discover it's horrible and worthless. And that will save you. It's much, much more difficult to rebuild your credibility than it is to create it.
As much as some marketers will have you believe... your list is NOT an ATM machine. Although when you've done your work sometimes it can seem like it when everything is working as it should.
So don't try to market everything you come across to your list. Be selective. Be smart. Think about the number of times you email your list on a monthly basis. Then use that number to determine how many times you'll promote something to it. And please...
Only provide good, high quality information to your list. When you do, you'll find them much more receptive and responsive to your offers.

Niche Marketing is the concept of targeting a specific group or audience!
Posted by admin at 12:05 AM | Labels: niche marketing internetIn this article I'm going to cover two specific marketing tactics, yet they do however tie in together. I'm going to show you how Niche Marketing can be very effective and how Mini Affiliate Sites can earn you a very good ongoing income, if done well. I will also show you how to promote your Mini Affiliate Sites for the best result.
Niche Marketing is the concept of targeting a specific group or audience. They target a specific audience/product, Fishing Lures, and do it well. I know the people behind crystallures.com as I did some marketing work for them. They wanted me to target a specific audience, which I did, and I got a phenomenal response.
Not only did the customers buy the Fishing Lures, they told their friends to as well. And to me, that's the power of Niche Marketing. Targeting an audience that has no interest in what you sell is not only a waste of your time, but also your money.
Here's another example of what I mean. Say you have an Internet Marketing book and decided to promote it in Pay per Click Search Engines. But here's the big question: the keyword" Internet" gets over One Million searches a month. On the other hand, "Internet Marketing" only gets half that number. Which keyword would you choose?
If you said "Internet," I'm sorry, but more than likely you are wrong. You see, the term "Internet" might get more searches, butt's not TARGETED. For example, if someone types in "Internet," they could want a range of products, and more than not, it's something that has nothing to do with Internet Marketing.
But if someone types in the term "Internet Marketing," they are being more specific and are actually requesting to view information solely on Internet Marketing. It's a simple explanation, I know, but it does help a lot of people. Of course, this example will work with any other keyword.
If you're wondering what this has to do with Mini Affiliate Sites, I'll explain now. Mini Affiliate Sites are small sites that are two or three pages long and promote maybe one or two affiliate programs.
These sites have been proven so effective that they have become my full time Internet Marketing job. Fortunately, after spending countless hours of wasted time, for more detail visit www.dream-revealed.com I found a product can use in my everyday life as well as make an informative Mini Affiliate Site around.
Marketing a Mini Affiliate Site is easy, or should I say, easier when you know how to get the best response.
Search Engines, Pay per Click Search Engines, Articles and discussion groups are your best bet. The reason I used the word bet is because sometimes Mini Affiliate Sites can be a big gamble. That's why a lot of people, when they create their Ministers, for more detail visit www.greatindustrialguide.com use free domain names and free web hosting. While this may seem like a good idea, it can sometimes lead to your downfall. Here's why:
1. Search Engines frown on this sort of practice and are more likely to link a site with a keyword filled domain name. For example, a good keyword domain name would look like this, Freeinternetmarketinghelp.com.
2. Free sites don't build trust, and with Mini Affiliate Sites, you need to build as much trust as you can in a much shorter space.
In conclusion, if you're going to make a Mini Affiliate Site, find product you use and trust and create a site around the product. Make sure you target only the people who could use or want your product, and most importantly, TRACK ALL YOUR advertising campaigns.

How To Select A Domain Name For Your Business
Wednesday, December 3, 2008 Posted by admin at 11:59 PM | Labels: how to domain name"Domain Names". This is where most people get it wrong. Right out of the gate most will pick a bad name and then everything can only go down hill from there. This is part of the foundation of your business. If you get this wrong, then there is no way for anything else to work as good as it should. So, let me give you the secret to selecting the right domain name.
First of all, a domain name is your business name. If you want your business to be called "XYZ" then your domain name should be www.xyz.com. Now it is more complicated then that, but that gives you a very basic explanation of domain names. It is the www.yourdomainname.com that you see everywhere on the Internet and that people will get to know you as.
Now one more thing, I always recommend a .com name instead of a .anythingelse name like; .biz or .org etc. It is the most used and recognized type of domain name. You can use something else if you want just make sure it matches who you are and what you do. If you are an organization then yes, use the .org or if you are some type of government company, use .gov or if you are a school then use .edu. Other then that, try and stay with the .com domain name.
Now to get started, we need to pick a fake company as our example company that we will use throughout this article. I will select a make believe company called "The Money Magnet System". So, let's say that yesterday you joined "The Money Magnet System" and now you need to select a domain name. What would be the best one to pick? Let me warn you about something real quick. Most programs will give you what is called a referral url and a replicated website. You will need both of these, but you will not actively use either if you set things up correctly. So, don't think just because they give you a referral url or domain name that you are set. You should never use this referral domain name to do any advertising! It will cause you to lose hundreds and thousands of dollars. In fact you may not even make any money at all using it. Do yourself a favor and save it somewhere because you will need it, you just won't advertise it.
You might be thinking that since you are starting a new business you should come up with something real catchy for you new business like; "My Totally Awesome New Business" or like so many other names I have seen such as; "Finally I Can Make Money" or "My Ship Has Come In". These are horrible domain names and you should avoid them like the plague!
What you are looking for is what I call PROGRAM RELEVANT & KEYWORD STRONG. That means, you want your name to be relevant to the name of the program you joined or business you have, yet also and if possible have keywords in the name that people typically use when searching for something online. I will give you some examples to get your mind going in the right direction.
Program Relevant Examples
Our program name is: "The Money Magnet System:
Examples of relevant words: Money System Magnet Money Money Magnet The Money System The Money Magnet
I think you get the idea. You want to use words that already exist in the program name if at all possible.
Keyword Strong Examples
Keywords are terms people use to find information in the internet. People type keywords in to a search bar of a search engine like Google and then they get results based on what Google or any other search engine you may use is most relevant to your search term or (keyword) you typed. This is not a lesson on keywords, but this should do for an explanation.

Now that you have an excellent expired domain in your kitty, what do you wish to do with that domain? Do you want to sell that domain at a mouth-watering price or do you wish to retain it with you to flip and make money through an affiliate link, click-through program? Affiliate programs are possibly the most lucrative and profitable way of making expired domain gains. Though affiliate program is fairly common method of earning money online, you can still use it to make meaningful money from your pack of expired domain names.
Here are some simple tricks that you can use to conquer a fiercely competitive affiliate program market:
Most of the affiliate web links invariably contain an affiliate ID in its URL. Some people may not like to click on such URL's just because they may not like affiliate marketing. Smart and experienced expired domain marketers are known for their wise and intelligent moves while choosing their expired domain names. If you wish to participate in an affiliate program, then you may need to search for the availability of a desired expired domain name that is fit enough to be projected to an affiliate program. It is always a wise move to choose and select the "redirect" and the "mask" option for your domain.
Just take a look at the following domains:
www.excellentbargain.com/affiliateprg/112324/affID?=bob www.greatportal.com/cheapproduct.html www.greatportal.com
In fact, all the above mentioned URLs are affiliate programs. But, two of the three URLs are masked and invisible to an ordinary internet user. Masking is an intelligent technique that can help you hide your URL's connection with an affiliate program. This intuitive technique will help you earn decent expired domain income. To mask your expired domain based affiliate program URI, you can mask it by using a redirect script on your expired domain; creating a new file on the domain server, naming it (with cheapproduct.hmtl) and later copying and pasting the script code with the page, and entering the affiliate URL will help your affiliate domain masked in front of the ordinary eye.
Click-through affiliate marketing is a novel idea of earning an online income that is more of residual income in nature. By using the above mentioned technique, you can add more sophistication to your expired domain name as well. More clicks mean better traffic and increased income. However, using an affiliate program means that you are actually flipping your expired domain for better earning potential.
Thus, you may need to create a catchy and attractive web page to enter into an active business partnership with the affiliate program. In fact, you can use your stocks of expired domains to start a series of affiliate program and earn handsome income on an ongoing, residual basis. Domain redirection is a wonderful strategy to lead your prospective customers to your affiliate web site.
